Privacy Policy

Your email (for sign-in only) and a username you pick. Your email is never shown to other users.

When you submit or refresh a price, we verify you're physically there. We store an approximate area code (~150m precision), not your exact coordinates.

A locally-generated installation ID, OS, and version. Used to detect duplicate accounts from the same device. Not sold, not shared.

Prices you submit, votes you cast, reputation points, badges. This is part of your public profile.

If you enable notifications, we store an Expo push token. Disable anytime from Profile → Notifications.

No Facebook SDK, no Twitter/X pixel, no cross-site tracking across other apps or websites.

Unless you optionally provide one during the owner-claim flow.

Pro subscription payments are handled by Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers (see below).

Apart from one square selfie if you upload an avatar.

Forwards push messages we trigger to Apple/Google. Only sees the push token, title, and body.

If the app crashes, we send a sanitized stack trace. Email, tokens, phone numbers are stripped client-side before sending.

Owner-claim verification codes and prize-claim OTPs go out through Resend. Only used for those flows.

When you tap Watch Ad, Google receives a device advertising ID and displays a non-personalized ad. You can reset or limit the ad ID from your OS settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

Anonymous event data (screen views, feature taps) so we can see what needs improving. No email, no exact location, no PII. Hosted in the US.

If you sign up for Pricinity Pro as a business owner, Stripe processes the payment. We store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number.

Profile → Notifications → Off / Critical / Standard / All.

Email founder@pricinity.com from your account address. We erase your profile, votes, and push token within 30 days. Price submissions remain in the public record but are anonymized — your username is removed.

Email founder@pricinity.com and we'll send a JSON export within 30 days (free, once per year).

Use your phone's settings (iOS: Settings → Pricinity → Location · Android: App info → Permissions). The app still works in browse mode.

Active accounts — kept while you use them. Deleted accounts — profile purged within 30 days. Anonymized price submissions stay in the public record indefinitely (part of the community dataset). Internal fraud + abuse audit logs retained up to 12 months.

We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, email founder@pricinity.com and we'll remove the account.

Right to know, delete, and opt out of any data sale. We don't sell data — full stop.

Right to access, correction, deletion, portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email founder@pricinity.com to exercise these.

We'll notify you in-app and via the email on file. Your continued use after the change means you accept it. The current version is always at this page.
